Notes for: James Boyd ("J.B.") Bodine

J. B. served in the U.S. Navy from 16 March 1946 until his retirement on 1 Sept 1966 with the rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer (E-8). During his military career he served several tours overseas as well as a four year tour aboard the repair ship "U.S.S. Kermit Roosevelt." In 1970 he received his BA degree in social science from San Diego State College and in 1971 his teaching credentials. From Sept 1971 until his retirement in 1986, J. B. taught the 6th grade at Ramona Intermediate School in Ramona, California.
