Notes for: William Henry Bodine
William died in a mine accident in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He was supposed to be from the Port Jervis, PA or NJ area. (I think Port Jervis is in New York, though.) The info on this couple came from a query by B. Sickler at the Ancestry.com Bodine Message Board.
Here is some info on him from the Forest Hill Cemetery Association:
William H. Bodine, age at deat: 36 or 36y 3m 11d. Born in Pike Co., PA. Died 1/6/1896 of an accident.
Also buried in this cemetery is an Archie Bodine: age at death was 5y or 4y 9m 4d. Born in Scranton. Died on 11/17/1894 of croup. I wonder if this is William's son.
