Clyde S. Chamberlin Sr., 81, of 87 Elwell Ave., Hillcrest, died at 1:40 a.m. Monday at Binghamton General Hospital after a long illness. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Edith Chamberlin, Hillcrest, three sons, Clyde S. Chamberlin Jr., Utica; Carl B. Chamberlin, Binghamton and Douglas A. Chamberlin, Johnson City; three daughters, Mrs. George (Bernice) Murray, Rome, Pa., Mrs. Richard (Ruth) Palmer, Johnson City and Mrs. Robert (Patricia) Silvernail, Titusville, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. Kenneth (Georgia) Huntley, Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; also several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a member of the Ogden-Hillcrest United Methodist Church; the Kalurah Shrine and also band director of their band; member of the Masonic Lodge F&AM, 599; the Aahmes Grotto; the St. Andrew's Commandry, 27 K.T.; the Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem; the Pine Haven Senior Citizens Group; a retired Singer-Link employee. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the William R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, Inc., 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson with the Rev. J. Harold Davies, pastor of the Ogden-Hillcrest United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Chenango Valley Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers those wishing may make donations to the Leukemia Society of America. Press Building, Binghamton. A Masonic service will be held this evening at 7:15 at the funeral home.

Chamberlin, Johnson City; 2 sisters, Mrs. Earl (Vina) Robinson, Walton, N.Y., Mrs. Blanche Hayes, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; 3 brothers, Rubin Budine, Livingston Manor, N.Y., Stanley and Kenneth Budine, both of Walton; 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; also several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a member of the Ogden Hillcrest United Methodist Church; St. Mark's Chapter number 698 O.E.S.; Zuleika Temple number 9, Daughters of the Nile; Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem Jappa Shrine; The Home Bureau. She was a retired Robintech employee. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. from the William R. Chase & Son, Inc. Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson. The Rev. J. Harold Davies, pastor of the Ogden Hillcrest United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Chenango Valley Cemetery. St. Mark's Chapter 698 O.E.S. will conduct ritulistic services today at 8 p.m. Friends may call atthe Funeral Home, today 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friends wishing may make memorial contributions to the Broome County Heart Chapter, Inc., 8 Riverside Dr., Binghamton.
