The birth date of Gillie Bodine was recorded as Nov 1892 in the 1900 census but her Missouri death certificate, no. 1951-19807 reported it as 17 Feb 1892. She died of heart disease and was buried in Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton. In 1930, the Houston family lived in Holcomb Township where Wallace worked as a school janitor. Wallace and Gillie Houston have a joint grave marker in Stanfield Cemetery, but Wallace appears not to have been buried there.
