Notes for: John Samuel Bodine, Sr.

The name on his birth certificate was John S. Bodine.

In response to some incorrect information I had in John's notes, I received the following message:

Subject: Genealogy Website (Bodine)

I was just visiting your website and came across my family's history. My father was John Bodine. His mother and father were George Bodine and Bessie Laws. John was their second child. Anyways on your notes you have him as being in a Nursing Home in Marion, Ohio. This isn't true nor was it ever true. My Dad just passed away on September 2, 2003 due to organ failure. He never had alzeimers. He was 81 when he passed away and lived with his wife (my Mom) in Lima, Ohio. I would be happy to offer any information on him that you need. Just let me know.

Thanks so much,
Shannon Wright
(John Bodine's daughter)
