Subject: Bodine genealogy

My son, Robert Bodine Reuther, asked me some time ago to write to you in answer to a request you made for some information. I am sorry to be so late in getting it to you. The cemetery was full of snow for most of the winter and hard to get to the graves.

My aunt, Fan Hawley Bodine Dunlap died on Oct. 15, 1971 and is buried in the Muncy cemetery.

My brother, John Phillips Bodine, died on Sept. 7, 1931 from rheumatic fever. He was 12 yrs. old. Born Aug. 7, 1919.

I believe you asked about a George Bodine. The only George we can find was born 4/1/1817, died 9/22/1867. Father was Abraham, Mother Mercy Paxson. Another tombstone has a George but the dates are badly worn. We believe he died as an infant.

I hope this helps you.
Ruth Bodine Reuther
