Silas Christian registered for the World War I draft on 5 June 1917 in Wheeler County, Texas. According to the Arizona death certificate, no. 1952-1527, of Silas Christian, he worked as a local tax commissioner. The couple was buried in Greenwood Memorial Park Cemetery, Phoenix, Maricopa County.

Children: William Robert (5 April 1920), 2 other children.
