On 12 Sept 1918, Claude Carle Crawford registered for the World War 1 draft in Sacramento, California. He reported his birth as 28 Aug 1885, was married to Pearl P. Crawford, and worked as a store room helper for the Southern Pacific Company. In Jan 1920, Claude and Pearl Crawford lived in Sacramento, Sacramento County and April 1930 in San Bernardino, San Bernardino, California where Claude worked as a retail merchant in groceries.

Pearl P. Crawford 82, 1383 N. G. St., San Bernardino, died Friday in a local hospital. She was born in Kansas and had lived in San Bernardino 43 years. She is survived by two sons, Richard, of Pacific Palisades, and Ned, of San Bernardino; two sisters, Mabel Oliver of New York and Effie Marie Simes of Oklahoma; a brother, Ernest Bodine of Kansas, and two grandsons. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Mark B. Shaw Chapel. Burial will be at Montecito Memorial Park. Friends may call at the chapel anytime today.
