Notes for: William Bodine
I have seen her name as Mary Ellen MYERS ROGERS. I assume she married someone else name ROGERS either before or after she married William Bodine.
Ronny Bodine wrote the following:
William Bodine was living 1880 in McClellan Township, Jefferson County, Illinois with his family. William Bodine likely came to Jefferson County, Illinois with the rest of his family in the 1840s, but is absent from the 1850 Illinois census, although all of his children were born there. He is present as a farmer in Jefferson County from 1860 on. William and Mary Bodine were buried in South Hickory Hill Christian Church Cemetery, Jefferson County. Their grave marker bears no dates and may have been placed long after their deaths.

Seeking further input on family of James S. Bodine, b. 1804 in TN, d. 1884 in Jefferson Co., IL. I have some info that he had a son, William, b. ca 1825 who married a Mary Ellen Myers. They had a child, Euphemia, b. 1868, who married James Martin Strain in Jefferson Co. IL. My wife descends through this line. Just trying to verify if this information is correct. Thanks for any help.
