Ernest A. Bordine, son of Gilbert Bordine & Lucilla Rendel, born 27 Oct 1894 in Augusta, died 5 Sept 1948 in Milan, Monroe County, aged 53 years.

YPSILANTI-- Blanche M. Drew, 78, of 3375 E. Michigan, Lot 77, Ypsilanti, died Tuesday in Saline Community Hospital. She was born April 16, 1897 in Augusta Township. Michigan, the daughter of William and Alma (Heath) Fuller. She married Ernest Bordine on April 18,1916. He preceded her in death in 1948. She then married Laurence Drew on June 6, 1965 in Milan. He survives. Mrs. Drew was a a member of the Church of Christ. Surviving are her husband, two sons: Clark Bordine of Plymouth, Kenneth Bordine of Dundee: four daughters: Mrs. Ruth Potts of Plymouth. Mrs. Joseph (Dorothy) Kish of Ridgeway, Mrs. Forrest (Betty) Call of Maybee, and Mrs. Hazel Labun of Plymouth; 15 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a stepson, Donald Drew of Morgantown, W.Va., four stepdaughters, Mrs. Dorothy Kohler of Milan, Mrs. June Jacobs of the Virgin Islands. Mrs. Geraldine Jacobs of Milan, and Mary Geringer of California, and two sisters, Mrs. Clara Olds of Milan and Mrs. Mable Anderson of Saline. Preceding her in death were a son and a daughter. Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. in Stevens Funeral Home, 218 E. Main, Milan, with the Rev. E. L. Freeland officiating. Burial will be hi Rice Cemetery, Milan. Visitation begins at 6 p.m. tonight.
