George W. Bordine served as a Private in Company H, 18th Regiment, Michigan Infantry (USA). He enlisted at age 19 on 11 Aug 1862 in Dundee, Michigan and was mustered out on 28 May 1863 at Cincinnati, Ohio.

George W. Bordine, 24 AND Orvilla Hardy, 23, were married 1 Jan 1867 in Augusta.

Arvilla M. Bordine, widow, born 23 Aug 1843 in Michigan, dau. of Stephen T. Harding & Matilda Darling, died 24 March 1925 in Dundee, Monroe County, aged 81 years.
