Notes for: James Allison Schriner

Linda Jindra says he was from McPherson County, Kansas. I orignally had his name as James "E." Schriner. Then L.J. sent info that his middle name was "Allison." Maybe it was really "Ellison." She also said that family legend says James was a traveling salesman. He went from one homestead to another in a wagon, and this was how he met Allie May Bodine. James moved from Iowa to Kansas with his parents in 1874. They resided at the Schriner homestead in South Sharps Creek Township, McPherson County, Kansas (near Windom).
