Notes for: Hiram Christman

Hiram arrived in Minnesota about 1856 by way of Richmond, Illinois. James Hicks has an album dating from about 1870 which has pictures of friends and relatives of Hiram and Elizabeth's children. There are about 35 to 40 pictures in the book, but Jim has only been able to identify about five of them. This album probably belonged to Hiram's daughter, Elizabeth. The pictures of Maria (Christman) Bodine, DeWitt Bodine, and Mary Christman Bodine had handwritten notes on the back of their pictures to identify them.
