Bridget Bodine said that Clarence, Sr. and Samuel L. Bodine were A.B.C.'s children. Dorothy Sebeth, Clarence's daughter, said that he and Keturah were divorced. Clarence later married Laura Hay Shumaker. I'm not sure if they had any children.

Hopewell, N.J. Sept. 5.--Outstanding among the social affairs in Hopewell during the past week was the marriage of Miss Keturah Braunworth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William T. Braunworth of Blackwell Avenue, to Clarence Bodine, son of Mr. and Mrs. Amplius B. C. Bodine, of Flemington, in the Hopewell Presbyterian Church on Wednesday evening, September 2, at 6:30 o'clock. Rev. Edward S. Brearley, pastor of that church officiating. Samuel Bodine, brother of the groom, was best man.
In 1930, Clarence Bodine lived with his family in Flemington, Hunterdon County where he was in partnership with his father in the Bodine Lumber Co. Clarence and Keturah Bodine were buried in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, Hunterdon County.

Flemington--Announcement has been made of the marriage of Laura Hay Shoemaker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George B. Hay of Delaware Water Gap, Pa., and Clarence H. Bodine of Flemington, which took place May 26 at Lancaster. The Rev. C. H. Weller performed the ceremony.

Flemington---Clarence H. Bodine, 51, brother of State Senator Samuel L. Bodine (R-Hunterdon), died of a heart attack in his home last night (Nov. 19, 1952) while his wife was attending a Heart Association meeting. Mrs. Lura Bodine told police she found her husband's body in front of the family television set about 10:30 p.m. on returning from a meeting of the Hunterdon County Chapter of the Heart Association in nearby Clinton. She said he had been suffering from a heart condition. He was born in Pittstown, Apr. 29, 1901. He attended Flemington High School and completed his schooling at Blair Academy, Blairstown, graduating in 1922. After graduation he returned home and became associated with his father, the late A. B. C. Bodine, in his Flemington lumber business and was with him until his death in 1941. The business then was taken over by the brothers. Mr. Bodine held the office of secretary-treasurer. His politics was Republican and he was a member of the First Methodist Church. He had been a member of the Fire Department since 1927. Mr. Bodine was married twice, the first marriage ending in divorce. His first wife, who survives, was Keturah Braunworth of Hopewell. Three children were born of the union, all of whom survive. They are William and Clarence Jr. of this place, and Mrs. Dorothy Seebeth of Freehold. He is also survived by his widow, the former Lura Shoemaker of Delaware Water Gap, Pa. Funeral services are being made by the Holcombe Funeral Home.

FLEMINGTON--Funeral services for Clarence Hoagland Bodine, 51, brother of Senator Samuel L. Bodine, who died Wednesday of a heart attack at his home on Pennsylvania Avenue Extension, will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Holcombe Funeral Home on Main Street. The Rev. Rodger W. Hawn, pastor of the Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Friends may call tonight at the funeral home. Mr. Bodine, a graduate of Blair Academy, was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. A. B. C. Bodine. Surviving in addition to his brother, Senator Bodine, are his wife, Mrs. Lura Hay Bodine; two sons, Clarence H. Bodine Jr. and William A. Bodine, both of Flemington; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy B. Sebeth of Freehold; a stepdaughter, Priscilla Ann Bodine, and a grandchild.

FLEMINGTON - Keturah B. Bodine died Friday, Feb. 12, 1999 in Lopatcong Care Center in Lopatcong Township. She was 94. She was born in Pottsville, Pa., the daughter of William and Rachel Pierson Braunworth. She had formerly resided in Hopewell before moving to Flemington in 1926. She was a graduate of Rider College in Trenton. At one time, she was a columnist for the Hunterdon Republican newspaper. She served as the hostess at the Circle Diner in Flemington for 17 years. Mrs. Bodine was a member of the Flemington Women's Club. She belonged to the Flemington United Methodist Church. A son, William Bodine, died in 1989. She is survived by a son, Clarence H. Bodine, Jr., of Flemington; a daughter Dorothy Sebeth of Flemington; a sister, Elizabeth Gantz of Hopewell; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Services were held yesterday in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home in Flemington, followed by burial in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Flemington. Memorial contributions can be made to Lopatcong Care Center, First Floor Nursing Staff, 390 Red School Lane, Phillipsburg 08865.

FLEMINGTON -- Lura Hay Dalrymple died May 13, 1997, at Somerset Medical Center. She was 81. Born in Browntown, she lived in Flemington for more than 50 years. A graduate of East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania, she taught at Whitehouse School for several years. She was active in the Hunterdon County League of Women Voters, the Hunterdon County Heart Fund Committee and the Hunterdon County Republican party. She was a real estate agent for several agencies in the county, most recently for Potts Realty in Centerville. She was predeceased by two brothers, William Hay and Robert Hay, and two former husbands, Clarence Bodine and George Dalrymple. Surviving are a daughter, Priscilla Hendershot of Middlesex, four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services were private, under the direction of Bridgewater Funeral Home.
