Fred W. Bodine, 23, of Pittsburgh, native of Pleasantville, Venango Co., collector, son of John A. Bodine & Lucy Lance AND Ethel S. Crossley, 21, of Pittsburgh, a native of Pittsburgh, school teacher, daughter of Frank Crossley & Isabella Evans, were married 27 May 1916 in Beaver.

In 1938, Fred and Ethel Bodine lived in Dormont, Allegheny County, Pa. In 1942, Fred Wilson Bodine Sr. registered for the World War II draft as a resident of Dormont, Allegheny County. He reported he was born 30 Sept 1892 in Pleasantville, worked for Gerbers Baby Food Company, and Mrs. Ethel Bodine was his next of kin.
