Walter Edward Bordine registered for the World War I Draft on 5 June 1917 in Twin Falls, Idaho. He reported he was born 24 Dec 1895 in Parsons, Kansas, worked as a farm laborer, was single, and supported his mother and two brothers.

Ruth Duncan 1st married Warren S. Triebel in 1920 and was living with him in Edna, Labette County, Kansas in April 1930. He died 16 Jan 1936 in Labette County and was survived by his wife and 2 children. It seems that Ruth subsequently married Walter Bordine who then died with several months.
