Married by me Alfred Cauldwell, Baptist Minister, Dec. 11th 1872 in Stockton, Hunt. Co. N.J. Mr. John Larison son of Benj. Larison Farmer and Dellia C. Bodine Daughter of Wm. Bodine Farmer, both of Delaware Township.
John Larison lived 1880-1900 in Delaware Township, Hunterdon County. In 1900, he reported that in 28 years of marriage his wife Delie had borne 4 children, all then living. He was buried in Sandy Ridge Baptist Cemetery, Hunterdon County. See a biographical sketch of John D. Chapman Publishing Company, New York. Chicago, 1898, p. 263-264. In 1910-1920, Delia Larison lived with her son Carman in Delaware Township. The Trenton Evening Times of 14 May 1930, reported that Mrs. Delia Larison of Stockton was spending some time visiting her daughter Mrs. Edward Venable. Delia was variously known as Della, Dillie and Dilley.

Lambertville, Jan. 24.---John D. Larison, one of the best known farmers in the vicinity of Sergeantsville, died Monday from pneumonia. He was 69 years old. He leaves a widow and four children-- William and Carmen Larison and Mrs. Anna Venable of Sergeantsville, and Andrew Larison, a fireman on the Pennsylvania Railroad, stationed at Phillipsburg. The funeral will be from his late home tomorrow morning. The Rev. Bartlette Browne will officiate. Mr. Larison was a brother of the late Dr. George H. Larison of Lambertville. Another brother survives, Dr. Cornelius W. Larison, of Ringoes.

Mrs. Deliah B. Larison, 79, passed away at the home of her son, Carman Larison, at the Homestead Farm near Sergeantsville, Wednesday morning, July 2, 1930. Mrs. Larison died after an illness of only a few hours. Funeral services at the Homestead Farm was conducted by Rev. William Wolverton, of Stockton, assisted by Rev. Amos Allen, pastor of the Sandy Ridge Baptist Church. Interment took place in the Sandy Ridge Cemetery. Mrs. Larison is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Edward T. Venable; three sons, Carman Larison, with whom she lived, Andrew Larison of Jersey City, and William Larison of Lambertville; a brother, William Bodine of Roselle Park; and five sisters, Mrs. Marietta Johnson of Lumberville, Pa., Mrs. Anna Rolle of Jersey City, Mrs. Ida Naylor of Washington, D.C., and the Misses Jennie and Carrie Bodine.
