Samuel and Sarah Bodine lived 1900-1920 in Delaware Township, Hunterdon County and were buried in Sandy Ridge Baptist Cemetery, near Stockton, Hunterdon County.

STOCKTON, Feb. 12.---The funeral of Mrs. Sarah L. Bodine, wife of S. R. Bodine, who died Friday evening after a short illness of paralysis, was held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from her late home. The service was conducted by the Rev. Clarence P. Moss, and interment was made in Sandy Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Horner. The bearers were: Irvin Dalley, Harry Woodruff, Lambert Moore, Jeremiah Slack, Otto Haines and Lewis Bird. She was 75 years old and is survived by her husband and two daughters, Miss Mary and Miss Lucy.

STOCKTON, Aug. 31.---The funeral of S. Reading Bodine, who was found dead at his home near Sandy Ridge Sunday, will be held from his residence on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in the family plot in Sandy Ridge Cemetery under direction of C. W. Green. Mr. Bodine was 75 years old, and is survived by two daughters, Miss Mary H. Bodine, of Norwalk, Conn., and Miss Lucy, at home. His wife died six months ago. He is also survived by these brothers and sisters: Charles W. Bodine, of this vicinity; William Bodine , of Roselle Park; Mrs. George Kugler, of Kingwood; Mrs. John R. Johnson, of Lumbertville, Pa.; Mrs. Annie Rolley and Miss Carrie Bodine, of Jersey City; Mrs. Lewis Naylor, of Washington, D.C.; Mrs. Dillie Larison, of Sandy Ridge.
