WALTON-- Rufus A. Budine, 70, of Walton RD 3, died Friday morning, December 20, at Delaware Valley Hospital. He had been in poor health for several years. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Clark Funeral Home, Walton, with the Rev. Henry G. Lincoln, pastor of Walton Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be at Walton Cemetery. Mr. Budine was born in Walton Aug. 24, 1893 son of Nathan and Julia (Christian) Budine. On April 29, 1931 he married Mabel Bundy in Montrose, Pa. He was a lifetime resident of the area, and had been a dairy farmer. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Surviving besides his wife are a daughter, Mrs. Robert M. Bucher, Plainfield, N.J.; a brother Harland, of Walton; a nephew Erving Budine, of Walton. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. to day and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m Sunday.

WALTON--Mrs. Mabel Bundy Budine, 75, Walton RD 3, died early Tuesday morning at the Delaware Valley Hospital, Walton. She had been in poor health the past year and one half. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the Clark Funeral Home, Walton, the Rev. Paul Brown, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be an Walton Cemetery. Mrs. Budine was born Jan. 8, 1890 in the Town of Tompkins, the daughter of William and Abbie Constable Bundy. She married Rufus T. Budine April 29, 1931 at Montrose, Pa. Her husband died Dec. 20, 1963. She was a lifetime resident of the Walton area. Mrs. Budine is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Arthur Race, Walton RD, and Mrs. Edward Granger, Clark Summit, Pa.; three brothers, George Bundy, Conklin, Lawrence Bundy, Harpursville, and Charles Reynolds, Chenango Forks; a brother-inlaw, Harland Budine, Walton; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday when the family will be in attendance.
