You have Don Leclair Bodine in your archives. His firstborn is John Painter Bodine b. 2 FEB 1914/15 in Illinois. He married Nola Elizabeth Moss (parents: William Alexander Moss and Edith Clara Bartlett. I have the Bartlett line back another 8 generations) Nola was born in 1916 and died in 1994 in Kiwanee, Henry Co., IL...

Anyway, John and Nola's children are: 1. John Neal Bodine b. 15 MAY 1937 in Morian, KS. Married Theresa Ann Carroll 29 NOV 1958. Theresa was born 13 JUN 1940 in Omaha, NE. Their kids are:

John Painter Bodine was born 1 March 1915 in Illinois and died 6 Sept 1962. He served in the U.S. Army as a Private from 14 April to 24 Nov 1945 and was buried in West Jersey Cemetery, West Jersey, Illinois. Nola E. Bodine of Castleton, IL, widow.

Funeral services for John P. Bodine, 47, of Castleton, were held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at Cox Memorial home in Wyoming. Mr. Bodine died suddenly at 9:30 Thursday morning at Gerald O'Neil's farm home where he was assisting with corn shelling. Rev. Ray Kistler, pastor of Wyoming Congregational church, officiated and burial was in West Jersey cemetery. He was a son of Don LeClair and Vada Drinnin Bodine and was born March 1, 1915, at West Jersey. He attended Wyoming and Toulon schools and graduated in 1944 from Toulon high school. Mr. Bodine was a veteran of World War II. He was married July 18, 1936, to Miss Nola Moss, who survives with four sons and a daughter, John, of Omaha, Nebraska; Terry, of Little Rock, Arkansas; Steve, of Wyoming, and Brent and Charlene, who are at home. Also surviving are his mother and two sisters, Darlene, Mrs. Ted O'Neil, of Wyoming, and Miss Donna Bodine, of Peoria. He was preced in death by his father.

KEWANEE -- Nola E. Bodine, 77, of 123 N. Vine St., Apt. 12, died at 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, 1994, at Kewanee Hospital. Born Oct. 7, 1916, in Moran, Kan., to Tom and Edith Moss, she married John P. Bodine in 1936 in Kansas. He died in 1962. One son, Paul Stephen Bodine, and one brother also preceded her in death. Surviving are three sons, Terry D. of Kewanee, Brent M. of Carol Stream and John N. of Moline; one daughter, Mrs. Matthew (Charlene) Godsil of St. Paris, Ohio; 18 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. She was a seamstress at Martha Brown Co. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Cavanagh & Schueneman Funeral Home, where visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight. Burial will be in West Jersey Cemetery in West Jersey.
