Notes for: Edward J. Pollard

The following concerns Edward J. Pollard. It is a quote from Andrew Whitworth in the Guntersville Advertiser and Democrat, Tuesday, July 2, 1929:

"I married Mollie Pollard, the daughter of Edward Pollard and her mother was Caroline Henson. She was the daughter of Reuben Henson. My father-in-law came from Virginia and settled on the Golden Place in Big Spring Valley. He was in the Mexican War. There were 10 children, five boys and five girls of our family. I had three brothers in the civil war, Joseph, Martin P., and Claborn. Martin and Joseph were killed. My father-in-law married the second time Kittie Ann Johnson. My wife had 4 sisters and 2 half-brothers."
