Miss Lucy M. Bodine, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Bodine, of 33 Grandview avenue and Robert Bryan, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bryan, of 150 Somerset street, were united in marriage Saturday afternoon at the home of the bride's parents.

Robert Bryan, 35, of 33 Grandview Ave., was killed at 5;33 a.m. today when his car was struck by a Lehigh Valley Railroad milk train at the Prospect St. Crossing in New Market. The vehicle was carried nearly a half mile, 2,145 feet, on the front of the engine before the train was brought to a stop. [Portion omitted] The car he was driving was registered in the name of his wife, Mrs. Lucy Bodine Bryan, and carried Florida license plates, police said. In addition to his widow, Mr. Bryan is survived by a daughter, Betty Ann; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bryan Sr., Miami, and a sister, Mrs. Herbert Freeman, also of Miami, former resident of North Plainfield. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Mrs. Lucy M. Bryan, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Bodine of North Plainfield, was married Saturday afternoon to Elmer A. Borman, 312 W. Fifth St. Mayor R. J. Underhill performed the ceremony at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Barado, 30 Glen Ct., who were the honor attendants.

North Plainfield---Elmer A. Borman, 80, died yesterday (Nov. 19, 1973) at his home, 33 Grandview Ave. He was the husband of Mrs. Lucy M. Borman, borough clerk. Mr. Borman, who was born in Warren, had been a life-long resident of the Plainfield area. An interior decorator, he had operated his own business before retiring in 1962. He was a member of the Trinity Reformed Church and the North Plainfield Lions Club. An Army veteran of the World War I, Mr. Borman was a member of Storr-Richie VFW Post 506 and Martin-Keimig Jr. Post 39, 29th Division Association. Besides his widow, he leaves three daughters, Mrs. Marion Anderson of Middlesex, Mrs. Dorothy Johnson of Plainfield and Mrs. Elizabeth Van Ollefen of Latham, N.Y.; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild. The Memorial Funeral Home, Plainfield, is in charge of arrangements.
