Notes for: Anna ("Annie") Sophia Bodine
Her name was listed as "Annie S." on the 1880 Census of N. Plainfield in Somerset County, New Jersey. She and Gibson are in the 1903 picture of John and Clara's 50th wedding anniversary.
She was living at 2 Almont Place in Plainfield, New Jersey as of 1952 (Courier News (Plainfield, NJ), 12/20/1952).
Here is a message I got about their son, Earl B. Smith:

Subject: INFO ON WILLIAM CRAMER BODINE
Dave,
I am Rita Laura hammond, youngest daughter of George S. Hammond, and the youngest granddaughter of William Cramer Bodine. This makes Jeff Perine my first cousin's son.
I do love the website, what a hoo!!
INFO: Lucy H. Smith was the WIFE of Earl B. Smith and daughter-in-law of Annie B. Smith. Annie Bodine Smith married a Gibson Smith.
Also as an FYI: Bodines still reside in the Locktown, Frenchtown New Jersey area. Frenchtown is just south of Locktown. As a matter of fact I met a woman (cannot recall last name) Eleanor Bodine, who was born and raised, and as of 4 years ago still lived in the house right next to the Locktown Baptist Church.
Thanks,
Sincerely,
Rita Hammond
