In 1942, Goldie Leroy Young, of Plainfield, NJ, registered for the World War II draft. He reported he was born 13 Oct 1889 in Blackwells Mills, NJ, worked for the Mack Motor Co. and Mrs. Laura Young was his next of kin.

Goldson and Laura Young were buried in New Somerville Cemetery, Somerset County.
