Mrs. Mary Ethel Page, 23-year-old Anaheim woman, answered a sudden call by death at midnight last night, as she was passing through Riverside with her father, Andrew Bodine of Anaheim. Thinking his daughter had suffered a relapse after an illness which took them to Eden Hot Springs for special treatments several days ago, the aged father was stunned by the death of the girl as she sat beside him in their automobile. Bodine told police, who were summoned after he stopped at an all-night cafe to seek aid for his daughter, that she had fainted. Investigation, however, revealed that she had been dead for several minutes. A physician was called, but pronounced the young woman lifeless when he arrived. The body was taken from the automobile to the ambulance of Acheson & Graham on order from Coroner Ben F. White, who was notified by police. With Mr. Bodine and his daughter in the coupe were Mrs. Pete Daniels and her small child, who reside on the Bodine ranch near Anaheim. Mrs. Page is survived by her husband and one child.
Robert and Mary Page had one daughter, Mary, born 6 Dec 1931 in Artesia, California. In 1935, Robert married Gladys with whom he was living in Compton, California in 1940. Robert was naturalized in Los Angeles in March 1945 at which time he reported the details of his birth and family status.
