The Celebration of Life service to honor Jennone McCasland Bodine Jones will be held on November 5 at 2:00 PM at OK Cremation and Funeral Home- 2415 N Walnut Ave, Oklahoma City OK. Jennone McCasland Bodine Jones. Born June 3, 1940 in Oklahoma City OK to Kenneth and Josephine McCasland - their only child and their crowning glory. She attended elementary school at Mt St Mary, and graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1958. She spent two semesters in business school with intentions of joining the Navy, which somewhat happened when she married Perry Bodine (ACR3) on January 9th of 1960. Jennone's legacy began in August of 1960 with the arrival of their first child, Dwana Jean. Over the next 13 years, they added 4 more - Kenneth, Larry, Beverly, and Perry "Wayne". Her legacy was extended with the addition of 24 grandchildren, 24 great grand children and 1 great-great grandchild. Jennone was an accomplished musician and a gifted sight reader on piano, using this gift in ministry at her church and in supporting high school recitals, as well as making countless memories with her children in front of her childhood piano. She was a legend at Bingo, and absolutely loved singing karaoke and going out to eat with her family. Those who knew Jennone will remember her as an eternal optimist, with a contagious smile and quick wit. Her unwavering faith in Jesus and her heart for serving others impacted the lives of many, and that influence ripples on in the lives of those she touched. Jennone was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Josephine, her husband Fred Jones, and her daughter Dwana. She is survived by her children Kenneth, Larry, Beverly and Perry. Although Jennone's physical presence may no longer grace our lives, her spirit and her memory will continue to inspire and uplift us. May her memory bring a smile and may we carry forth her legacy of love.
