On 5 June 1917, Arthur Bodine registered for the World War I draft in Topeka, Kansas. He reported he was married and worked as a coach truck repairer for the A.J. & S.F. Railroad. In 1920, he lived with his wife Mable in Topeka working as a coach carpenter for the Santa Fe Railroad. In 1930, as Leo Bodine, he lived with his family in Scranton, Osage County engaged in farming and in April 1940, as Leo Bodine, 49, farmer, with wife Mabel 46 KS and daughter Betty, 17, he engaged in farming in Scranton.
Mabel Streckenfinger was the daughter of William and Amelia Streckenfinger.
