In an advertisement for Dr. Derk P. Yonkerman's "Tuberculozyne" a cure for consumption, a letter from Mrs. Ellen Mossell of Kalamazoo, Michigan explains how this product cured her daughter, Miss Minnie Bodine, now aged 16 years old, who was sick from infancy. Her father died of consumption when 35 and her grandfather died of consumption at 45.

Minnie L. Fagan, born 23 May 1885 in Allegan Co., MI, daughter of George Bodine & Ellen Morey, died 1 Sept 1948 in Lansing, Ingham County.

Mrs. Minnie Fagan, 63, of 420 South Pine street, died unexpectedly from a heart attack suffered at her home Wednesday afternoon. The inhalator squad made an attempt to revive her, removing her to St. Lawrence hospital, where she died a short time later. Mrs. Fagan had been a resident of Lansing 34 years, coming here from Kalamazoo, and was a member of the Church of God. She is survived by her husband, Edward; a sister, Mrs. Winnie Grove of Grand Rapids, and two brothers, Wilford Bodine of Kalamazoo, and Bert Bodine of Van Buren county. The body was removed to the Estes-Leadly funeral home. Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Colonial Chapel. rev. V. J. Gritzmacher will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope cemetery. Pallbearers will be Walter Marsh, Russell Thorburn, Elmer Tomlinson, Bill Crampton, Walter Seigrist and Carl Ziegler.

Elder Edward Fagan, 916 William, died Friday in a local hospital. Elder Fagan had been a resident of Lansing over 30 years, and was a member of Two Wing Temple, Church of God. Surviving is his wife, Katherine. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the Riley Funeral Home with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
