Notes for: Winifred ("Winnie") D. Bodine
From some info on the Internet which was hard to decipher, it seems her legal name was corrected from Winnie to Winifred in 1941. She may have been an orphan.

Roy Lampher and Winifred Bodine married in 1904. In 1907/8 she bore their son Gerald and by 1909 was divorced from her husband as by April 1910 she was married to William H. Miller:
1910 Muskegon, Muskegon Co., MI: Wm. H. MILLER 38 MI, Winifred 27 MI wife, Gerald L. LANPHER 2 MI son. William and Winifred were both married for the 2nd time and had been married 1 year.
On 12 Sept 1918 Roy Packard Lanpher registered for the World War I Draft in Kalamazoo City, Michigan. He reported he was born 13 Nov 1882 and that Mrs. Leona Lanpher Cowler was his next of kin. [Note: His birth as Roy Lampher took place on 5 Nov 1881 in Kalamazoo, Michigan as son of Loren and Lena Lampher as per Kalamazoo birth records.]
In April 1930 and April 1940, James and Winifred Grove lived in Grand Rapids, Kent County, Michigan. Grand Rapids city directories reflect James E. and Winifred D. Grove there through 1960.

Roy P. Lampher, born 5 Nov 1881, died 5 Oct 1978 in Grand Rapids, Kent County.
Roy Lampher was buried in Fairplains Cemetery, Grand Rapids, Kent County, Michigan.
