My Cousins were in Maine, where our Great Grandfather is buried and took photo's of his gravesite: his name was Edgar Beverage and he fought in the Civil War. Several miles offshore on the Island of North Haven, lies our GGGG Grandfather-- Captain Thomas Beverage who fought in the Revolutionary War.
My mother's name is spelled Dorothy Beverage Cranmer on her headstone. It was spelled Beveridge in the newspaper when my mother and father were married but I am almost certain that Beverage is the correct spelling.
