Royal C. Krumtum registered for the World War I draft on 1 June 1917 in Oklahoma City. He reported he was working as a news agent for the Frisco News in Oklahoma City. In 1930, Royal C. Krumtum and his family lived in Oklahoma City where Royal worked as a roughneck in an oil field. Chester Krumtum was buried with his 2nd wife, Leona, in Sunny Lane Cemetery, Del City, Oklahoma County.

Services for Mrs. Wynette Krumtum, 79, San Diego, Calif., an Oklahoma City native, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Hunter Funeral Home, with burial at Fairlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Krumtum died Sunday in San Diego after a long illness. She was a longtime resident of Oklahoma City and a member of Faith Tabernacle Church. Survivors include two sons, Donald and Charles, both of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Mrs. Faye Edmondston, Dana Point, Calif., and Mrs. Jonellen Canepa, San Diego; a brother, F. E. Bodine, Oklahoma City; two sisters, Mrs. H. B. Crews, Oklahoma City and Mrs. Grace Rudolph, Ohio; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Children: Viola M. (c1923), Donald C. (c1923), Charles (c1924), Jonellen W. (1927).
