On 5 June 1917, Clifford Hugh Cunningham registered for the World War I Draft in Oklahoma City. He reported he was born 25 Jan 1893 in Oklahoma City, worked as a temaster for the Minnetonka Lumber Co. and was married. Clifford and Helen Cunningham lived 1920-1940 in Oklahoma City where Clifford worked as a laborer for a lumber company (1920-1930) and lumber co. yard foreman (1940). In 1942, he registered for the World War II Draft in Oklahoma City. The 1951 Oklahoma City Directory lists Clifford H. and Helen Cunningham as residents, but they moved soon afterwards as they are not listed in subsequent editions.

Mrs. Helen Olivia Cunningham, 67, of Moore, died Thursday in a Moore nursing home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Capitol Hill Funeral Home with burial in Resthaven Cemetery. Mrs. Cunningham was born in Oklahoma City and was a member of the Wilmont Place Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Cliff, of the home; four sisters, Mrs. H. B. Crews and Mrs. Florence Thomas, both of Oklahoma City; Mrs. Wynette Krumtum, Perrysburg, Ohio, and Mrs. Grace Rudolph, Perrysburg, Ohio, and two brothers, Ed Bodine, Oklahoma City, and Jim Bodine, Okmulgee.
