Dave,

...you were right about my grandmother's birth year. It was 1905. She had six children and 22 grandchildren. By the way, one of her grandchildren, my sister, is famous for being the woman pilot who helped land the Hawaiian Aloha Airlines plane in 1988 that lost the top portion of its fuselage. Her name is Mimi Tompkins.

Thanks, Cindy

Hi,
My grandmother was Mary Evelyn Bodine Wolfe and she was born in 1906. I will also find out what day she died and get that to you. I will send a few photos if you like. She mentioned one time that one of her sisters was killed by a jealous husband, could have been a sister in law. My grandparents were married in Oklahoma, probably Wanette. Both died in Port Arthur, Tx. As did Lola, and Bertha.

Thanks,
Cindy Tompkins
Mother was a Wolfe.

From Ronny Bodine:

George Wolfe registered for the World War I draft on 12 Sept 1918 in Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma. The Wolfe family was living 1930 in Pottawatomie County where George worked as a laborer.
