Dear Dave,
Here is some more info on Sarah Bodine (daughter of James J.)
It seems that Sarah and George Barksdale were married in 1875 in Texas. BARKSDALE, GEORGE M BODINE?, SARAH E 8 APR 1875 D(c)79 http://www.rootsweb.com/~okgarvin/kinard/bosquebmarr.htm
By the 1880 census, they are living in Wise County Texas. They are 21 and 24 and have two children, James (1) and an illegible girl (4). In the neighborhood are James J. and Eliza Bodine with son Franklin (19). John Bodine is living nearby with a wife, Harriet and new born daughter Eliza. Wise County TX 163 E. D. 127 Federal Population Schedule TX 1880 Federal Census Index TX28938904
George M and Sarah are my greatgrandparents. I think that Sarah must be the same person as the one in your genealogy web site. Too many coincidences.
I wonder if they all moved up to Oklahoma together. Do you know anything about where they went after they left Texas. How is it known that Sarah died in Oklahoma City?
Thanks for your help.
Sarah Barksdale.
