In 1900, Peter Bodine, now widowed, was living in Polk Township, Marshall County, Indiana engaged in farming. For some unusual reason he believed that his father had been born in Ireland. In 1910, Peter Badine, age 55 and widowed, was living with his daughters Edith and Esther in South Bend, St. Joseph County where he worked as a teamster. In 1920, as Peter Badine, age 65, he was living in Oregon Township, Starke County, Indiana.
