Arvilla Bodine, widow, born 26 Dec 1870 in North Liberty, Indiana, dau. of Silas & Armanda Wallace, died 2 Oct 1949 in South Bend, St. Joseph County, and was buried in North Liberty, Indiana. Informant was Mrs. Alfred Steele.

WALKERTON.---William Bodine, aged 79, northeast of Walkerton, died at 4 p.m. Saturday in his home. He was born in Warren county, Ohio, Jan. 4, 1861 and came here from Ohio 76 years ago. On Nov. 2, 1892 he married Arbile Wallace. He was a farmer. Surviving are the widow; a son, Grant Bodine; four grandchildren and a brother, Cash Bodine, all of Walkerton. Funeral services Tuesday afternoon in the Nusbaum funeral chapel, Rev. C. Stump officiating. Burial in North Liberty cemetery.

NORTH LIBERTY---Mrs. Arvilla Bodine, aged 76, died today in the Jones nursing home, South Bend. She was born Dec. 26, 1872, in North Liberty. Her husband, William Bodine, died in 1941. She leaves four grandchildren. The funeral will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the McDaniels funeral home. Rev. Eddie Stump will officiate. Friends may call in the funeral home Tuesday and until time of services.
