Jacob Truempe, born 14 July 1861 in Williamsport, Lycoming County, died there 14 Jan 1917 and was buried in Wildwood Cemetery. He was a house painter, son of Jacob Truempe and Margaret Metzger.
Mrs. Arvilla Truempe, widow of Jacob, is listed as a resident in the 1918, Canton, Ohio City Directory.

John L. Mossgrove, widowed, born 7 May 1865 in Zanesville, Ohio, died 7 May 1936 in Canton, Stark County and was buried in Forest Hill Cemetery. His age was 71 years and 2 months [which implies his birth date was 7 March 1865.] Informant was Earl Mossgrove.

Mrs. Arvella Mossgrove, 69, wife of John L. Mossgrove of 215 4th st NE, died early this morning in the home. Death followed a short time after a heart attack. She was a member of Zion Lutheran church. Besides her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Claire Gardner of Canton, Mrs. Elizabeth Queen of Akron and Miss Martha Mossgrove of the home, and a brother, Elmer Bodine, of Williamsport, Pa.

John L. Mossgrove, 71, of 206 Brown ave NW died this morning in his home after an illness of eight months. He was a retired employee of the Timken Roller Bearing Co. and was a member of Zion Lutheran church. Although born in Zanesville he had lived in Canton almost all his life. He is survived by two sons, Earl of Wheeling and Harry Mossgrove of Canton; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild and a brother Ernest Mossgrove of Clinton, Conn. The body is at the E. Jay Welch parlors.
