Rebecca Youngblood FORT WORTH -- Rebecca Joan Bodine Youngblood, 74, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed peacefully on Monday, Nov. 20, 2017. SERVICE: 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov 25, 2017, at Thompson, Harveson and Cole Funeral Home, Reverend Ryan Baer officiating. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Friday. MEMORIALS: Gladney Center for Adoption or North Texas Alzheimer's Association. Joani was born on November 12, 1943, in Frederick, Oklahoma to Harmon Maddox and Clara Jean Killam Bodine. Joani was raised in Mission, Texas and graduated from Mission High in 1961. She married the love of her life, Jim Youngblood in 1984. She was a very successful realtor for many years with Brants and Williams Trew and was loved by everyone in the real estate community. She was known for her high heels, fabulous jewelry, stylish hair and infectious smile. She had a passion for cooking, especially baking sweets. Her pies and cakes were enjoyed by family, friends, clients and coworkers, especially during the holidays. Her family meant the world to her and she loved spending time with her children and spoiling her grandchildren rotten. Always ready for a party, she was constantly positive and glowing. She was a longtime member of the P.E.O. sisterhood. SURVIVORS: Her husband, Jim Youngblood; daughters, Megan Roland and husband, Carl of Fort Worth; Lezlie Morton of Colorado; stepson, Monty Youngblood; grandchildren, Dylan, Billy and Jackson Field and Jordan and Jacob Roland; sisters, Jill Birdwell and husband Michael of Aledo; Judy Suter of Mission.
