The picture below was sent to me by Rita Marlow (ritmar at csinet.net). Pictured are Clyde Marlow (on right), her grandfather, and Guy Staton Bodine (on left). Clyde and Guy were first cousins. Rita said the two men were very close. It was taken in 1960 when Clyde visited Guy in Texas.
And here is a message from Rita:

Hello Dave,
I just happened upon your website while looking up "Marlow's" and what a fantastic site it is! You have done a superb job of organizing it. I am very humbled! My Marlow family is related to your Bodine family. In fact, my grandfather, Clyde Marlow, was very close with Guy Staton Bodine. They were first cousins. I am attaching a picture of the two of them from about 1960 when my grandfather visited Guy in Texas.
It's always exciting to me to come across folks in the family tree. Please stop by my website if you have a chance. I will be glad to share any information I have with you. I recently published a new edition of our Marlow Family History Book. At last count, I have 11,402 individuals in my Marlow family file. I think that by finding your site, there will be quite a few more to add!
Sincerely,
Your Cousin
Rita Marlow

I found your email site on rootsweb and hope to make contact with the Bodine Family.
My grandmother was a sister to Minnie Lee Ross Bodine married to Guy Staton Bodine.
My mother loved to visit with Aunt Minnie and that was not often as we lived too far a part.
I grew up in Tom Green County near San Angelo.
...
Shirley Payne Smelley and you will have my email.
Look forward to hearing from you
From Ronny Bodine:
Guy Staton Bodine registered for the World War I draft 5 June 1917 in Schleicher County. The Guy Bodine family was living through 1940 in Schleicher County where Guy worked as a stock farmer. Minnie (Ross) Bodine was the daughter of Herman George and Eliza Branch (Hester) Ross.
Note: The 1930 census shows Alice as the wife of Guy Bodine, but that of 1940 again shows Minnie, who survived her husband. Clearly Alice and Minnie are the same person.
