Notes for: John Bodine
Some records at FamilySearch.com list John as the son of Abraham Bodine and Mary Low.
John Bodine and Mary Van Hoesen are mentioned in the book "Contributions to the Genealogies of the Descendants of the First Settlers of the Patent and City of Schenectady, from 1662 to 1800," by Jonathan Pearson (1873).

Dave,
One more thing...I found out there was a John Bodin (Bodine?) in the Tryon County Militia, 3rd Regiment, from the old town of Mohawk (later split into Florida and Charleston). I sent off for his service records...hope they can find them. I'll let you know!
