Notes for: Ellen Bodine
From Ronny Bodine:
Freeman and Ellen Derby were living 1850 in the 15th Ward of New York City. Freeman was a tailor who practiced his trade all of his life. Ellen was his 2nd wife. Freeman Derby cannot be located in 1860, but in 1870 he was living in the 15th Ward of New York City and Ellen is no longer evident. Freeman was Buried in Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn.

Subject: Freeman Derby
Dear Dave,
I am looking for info on a Freeman Derby. The person I seek won a judgment against an architect in 1859 in a NYC court. Could this be the same man as the Freeman in your family tree who is buried in Greenwood? Coincidently, the architect is also buried in Greenwood.
What I would love to know is what goods or services he provided to the architect that caused the law suit.
Any help you can give me will be much appreciated.
