Dr. Dewitt Clinton Hunter of Rochester, father of Mrs. A. M. White of Windsor street, died Monday at his home in that city, at No. 707 North Goodwin street from apoplexy, with which he was stricken last August. Dr. Hunter, who was 78 years old, was for many years a resident of Batavia, moving to Rochester in 1900. He is survived by his wife, whose maiden name was Mary Bodine and to whom he was married in the Batavia Presbyterian church on May 30, 1860; two daughters,. Mrs. J. H. Judd of Rochester and Mrs. A. M. White of Attica; a sister, Mrs. Mattie Rhone of Russell, Fla.; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The funeral was from the family residence at 3 p. m. Wednesday and the interment will be at Clarence today.

Mrs. Mary W. Hunter died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A. M. White, at Attica, aged 82 years. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. J. H. Judd, of Rochester, and Mrs. A. W. White, of Attica; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
They had two daughters, Minnie and Myra. They were born about 1853 and about 1857.
