In June 1870, James and Calista Brokaw lived in Niles, Cayuga County, near her parents and in June 1900 yet lived in Niles. James Brokaw reported he and Calista had been married 34 years and her only child was still living. James and Calista Brokaw were buried in Owasco Rural Cemetery, Onondaga County.
