From Brick Reformed Church of Montgomery, Orange County, Marriages: 23 March 1837: Howard Bodine and Esther Y. Morum. Witnesses were Absolum Bookstaver & John Henry Wiltsie.

Howard Bodine does not appear in the 1850 census and was referred to as deceased in the June 1856 will of his mother. Elizabeth Bodine makes reference to 'the children of my son Howard Bodine, Decd." and the probate names Howard Bodine as a minor who requires a Special Guardian. Another heir named in the probate is Emma Stiner of New York City, who, not being named in the will, must be another child of Howard Bodine.
