Egbert M. Bodine, of Chicago, IL AND Miss Nettie M. Robbins, of St. Louis, were married 16 May 1883 in St. Louis, by J. E. Godbey, Pastor, Page Ave. Methodist Church.
In 1900 (recorded as Edward Bodine), Egbert Bodine lived with his family in St. Louis, Missouri where he was employed as a real estate salesman. He reported that in 17 years of marriage his wife had borne 3 children all of whom were then living with them. According to his Missouri death certificate, no. 1922-2381, Egbert Bodine died of pneumonia and was buried in Valhalla Cemetery. Nettie (Robbins) Bodine was the daughter of Robert and Anna (Parker) Robbins. In 1930, she lived with her son Jesse in St. Louis. According to her Missouri death certificate, no. 1944-4898, Nettie Bodine died of a cerebral hemorrhage and was buried in Lake Charles Cemetery.
