Notes for: Allen Griffith Bodine
This is Sheila Bodine's grandfather. I have that he was buried in Old St. David's Cemetery in Radnor, PA. That doesn't match RB's info below. This needs to be cleared up.
From Ronny Bodine:
Allen Bodine earned a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1899. In April 1910, he was an inmate of the Hartford Retreat, in Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut. On 12 Sept 1918, he registered in Cape May County, New Jersey for the World War I draft. In 1920, he and his wife were living in Charles Town, Jefferson County, West Virginia. An insurance salesman when young, in later life he worked as an oil "wildcatter". He was buried in Old St. David's Cemetery in Radnor, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Emma (Carson) Bodine was the daughter of Robert and Mary Jane (Neely) Carson. She was buried in Oakland Cemetery, Yonkers, New York.
