Port Bordine, 21, laborer, of North Star, son of Jay Bordine & Huldah Bovee AND Katie B. McIntosh, 16, of Mesick, dau. of A. M. McIntosh & Carrie Bryant, were married 19 Sept 1903 in Sherman, by H. H. Harris, Clergyman.
In June 1900, Kate McIntosh, born Aug 1887 in Michigan, lived with her widowed father, Angus, and siblings in Springville, Wexford County, Michigan.

Porter Bordine was caught in a tar covered belt at the Ithaca woodenware factory. His arm was torn off and he was terribly mangled. Bordine lived but a few minutes. He left a widow and two children at North Star.

Porter Clyde Bordine, married, son of David Bordine & Huldah Bovee, born 18 Feb 1882 in Michigan, died 16 March 1908 in Ithaca, Gratiot County.
