Ronny Bodine found that Sarah Bordine's husband was not "Perry Johnson Dover" as some have listed him. He was Paris Johnson of Dover, Michigan. Good work, Ronny!

1880 Dover Twp., Lenawee Co., MI: Paris JOHNSON 57 NY farmer, Sarah 49 NY wife, William 22 MI son.

Obituary, Evening Telegram (Adrian, Mich.) of Thursday, 10 May 1894.
Another old resident and pioneer of Dover, passed away in the death of Paris Johnson, last Sunday night. The funeral was largely attended at the house, Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Mr. Johnson was born in Yates, Orleans county, N.Y., Oct. 20th, 1821, and moved to Michigan with his parents in 1833, being then a boy of 12 years of age. He was married to Sarah Bordine, Nov. 15th, 1847. His widow and three children survive him. One son and two daughters. One son died in 1853, when but four years of age. Mr. Johnson was of a quiet nature, but was a good citizen and an honest man.

Sarah M. Johnson, widow, native of NY, dau. of Jacob & Christina Bordine, died 3 Feb 1897 in Dover, Lenawee County, aged 66 years.

Paris and Sarah Johnson were buried in South Dover Cemetery, Clayton, Lenawee County, Michigan.
