Mary Eleanor Bodine Gayler is still alive in nursing home in Attica,IN, Georgeanna Bodine Ford lives in Covington, IN.

Mary Eleanor married Harold Gayler (deceased)- 2 children Donald Gayler and Karel "Ann" Gayler ( born... 1942, died... 2003).

Ann married Francis "Fran" Behler... 1966. They had 2 children Todd and Brett.

Donald Gayler married Rita Welch in... 1966. They had 6 children: Bradley, Christopher, Julie, Elizabeth, David and Paul. Don and Rita live in Attica, IN.

Georgeanna Bodine married Donald Eugene Ford... 1949. They had 2 children Cheryl and Stephen "Bruce" (born... 1955). Don Ford died May 24, 2005.

Cheryl Ford married Leonard Orr, they have 4 children: Jennifer, Sarah, Katie and Ashley. They reside in Covington, IN

Bruce Ford married Brenda McDaniel. They have 2 children Stephen and Stephanie. They reside in Indianapolis, IN

I'll see what else I can get for you regarding date of birth, marriages as most of Ann, Don and Cheryl's kids are married and some have kids of their own now.

Also Grace Coffing (b 1904) Grace died July 27, 2000. She is buried in Mt Home Cemetery in Covington,IN. She and Clint Coffing had 1 daughter Reva, Reva married William Sahm and they had 9 or 10 children. Reva is still alive and lives in Indianapolis.

ATTICA---Harold C. "Cop" Gayler, 64, retired foreman of Harrison Steel Castings Co., was dead on arrival at Community Hospital, Williamsport, at 7:55 a.m. Tuesday, apparently of a heart attack. He had been in ill health some time. A native of Shawnee Township, Fountain County, Mr. Gayler was a graduate of Attica High School. He had been a resident of Attica since 1936 and lived at 216 Foster Dr. In 1972 he retired as foreman of the cleaning room at Harrison Steel where he was employed 38 years. The past five years, Mr. Gayler worked at Indiana State Highway Garage. He was married in 1935 at Attica to Mary Eleanor Bodine, who survives. Mr. Gayler was a member of Attica First United Methodist Church. Surviving with the widow are a son, Don Gayler ofAttica; a daughter, Mrs. Francis (Ann) Behler of Lafayette; and one brother, Hubert Gayler of Hillsboro.

ATTICA, Ind. - Mary Eleanor (Bodine) Gayler, 91, Attica, died at 11:55 a.m. Friday, April 25, 2008, in the Woodland Manor Nursing Center, Attica. Mary Eleanor was born in Troy Township of Fountain County on Jan. 29, 1917. She was the daughter of the late James L. and Eleanor P. Hickman Bodine. Mary Eleanor was raised in Troy Township, graduating from Covington High School in 1934. She has lived in Attica 70 years. Mary Eleanor first worked as a clerk for Buckley's Grocery Store in Attica. She later worked as a dispatcher for fire and police at the Attica radio room. She more recently worked as a clerk for the Indiana State Highway Department for many years, retiring in 1978. She was a member of the Attica First United Methodist Church. On April 7, 1935, Mary married Harold Cecil "Cop" Gayler in Attica. He preceded her in death on Dec. 5, 1978. Surviving are a son, Donald "Don" (Rita) Gayler of Attica; a sister, Georganna Ford of Covington; eight grandchildren, Bradley (Kim) Gayler and Christopher Gayler, both of Attica; Julie (John) Sommers and Elizabeth "Liz" (Daniel) Schoettle, both of Indianapolis; Paul (Paula) Gayler of Goshen; David Gayler of Toledo, Ohio; Todd (Kristi) Behler and Brett (Cathy) Behler, both of Westfield; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ann Behler, and a brother, James R. "J.R." Bodine. Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, from 5-8 p.m. EDT Monday, April 28. Services will be at the funeral home at 11 a.m. EDT Tuesday Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery, Attica. Memorial contributions may be made to the Attica Community Foundation.
