Here is a picture of Pearl Bodine and her brother-in-law Marvin Bodine taken in about 1943:
L-R: Harold Bodine, Lura (Bodine) Smith, and Marvin Bodine.
Jan Bodine wrote me that Harold was born 1906-1908 (they kept changing their mind with each new census). Harold was married twice: His first wife was Garnet Snyder who is the mother of their only son: Terry Bodine. Garnet died in the late 60's or early 70's (?) and Harold remarried to Dorothy (Nip) Weber (Weber was her maiden name - her first husband was Ralph Cedric Nippert). They retired from work in West Chicago and moved back to Fountain County in about the mid 70's. They lived on the farm next to Marvin and his wife Dorothy (Stine) Bodine. A few years later, Terry and his wife, Anne, also moved back to Fountain County and lived a short distance from Harold. Harold worked for a time with the crew building the Alaskan Highway.
The picture below was sent to me by Janet Mackey-Bodine:
From Ronny Bodine:
Garnet (Snyder) Bodine is the daughter of Marvin T. and Hannah Alice (Linder) Snyder. Dorothy (Weber) Bodine is the daughter of Raymond Charles and Nellie (Chapman) Weber.
